I’m so happy you’re here and taking a moment to get to know the heart behind this work. I’m a family, newborn, and maternity photographer based in the north Dallas area — but more than that, I’m a mom who deeply understands how quickly these seasons change and how precious it is to hold onto them.

Before photography became my full-time world, I spent over a decade in healthcare working with pediatric patients. Caring for families and little ones shaped so much of who I am, and somewhere along the way my need for a creative outlet blended with that passion. What started as a way to slow down and savor my own motherhood evolved into a business that celebrates all things family, connection, and the beautifully ordinary moments we never want to forget.

Our path to Dallas has been a journey — 12+ years in Arizona, a sweet (but short) season in Nashville, and then a move that instantly felt like home. I’ve built (and rebuilt) this business in three different states, and each chapter brought families who trusted me with their stories. I’m grateful for every single one… and for every family I haven’t met yet.

I picked up my first camera in 2012 and opened Kourtney Marie Photography shortly after. As life shifted — marriage, babies, juggling work and motherhood — my love for documenting these seasons only grew. This business has become my happy place, a space where I get to serve families in a way that feels meaningful and true.

A little more about me: my world is full with my husband and our three boys. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually homeschooling the kids, sipping a hot coffee, or finding ways to make our house feel warm and lived-in. I love opening our home to friends, staying grounded in our church and community, and learning as I go — as a mother, a business owner, and a human.
